9 Months!

As of yesterday this little bugaboo of mine is 9 months old. Crazy to think that he's been in this world as long as he was in my belly (well, give or take a week or two). I just love everything about him from his beautiful blue eyes to his chubby little toes.

Asher rolls like crazy. Yesterday I laid on the floor with him and watched him roll back and forth about 15 times trying to reach a toy that was just barely out of reach. He does this funny thing where he will roll 3 times in a slight curve in one direction, and then roll back 3 times. With this little curve he is able to get to his destination...just with a lot of work! He does not attempt to crawl. In fact if I put his knees underneath him he will just go flat.

I'm still not great about feeding him solid foods so he hasn't advanced much. I feed him baby food once or twice a day and just today I tried to give him one of this little snack puffs that are supposed to dissolve. He held onto it for awhile and when he finally put it in his mouth he pulled it right back out and handed it to me!

I think the helmet progress is going well. Asher has an appointment in about 2 weeks when they will measure him and we'll really know if it's helping. From there they will decide how much longer he needs to wear it. Probably at least another month. When we take his helmet off (only one hour a day does that stinky thing come off) he scratches and scratches his head. I lotion it up after his daily head scrub but his head still gets so dry. Asher has his two bottom teeth. Just a day or two ago I noticed one tooth on top that's starting to poke through and today it looks like there's another tooth about ready to come. Last night was a rough night and I think it may be because of these teeth. Tonight he will be getting tylenol before bed :)

He really is a sweet sweet baby and I've smiled every day these last nine month just because of something he's done. I love being a mommy!!
