He's 2!!

From the very first day he was born, my little Asher has brought a smile to my face. He was a perfect baby and a fantastic one year old. I'm sure as a two year old he's only going to bring more smiles and laughter to our home!

We were quite lame on Asher's birthday (Friday, the 29th). We sang to him several times throughout the day and after each round of "Happy Birthday" to Asher he'd want us to sing "Happy Birthday" to Rylan! I talked Kevin into taking us to dinner at Zupa's. Rylan didn't want to eat there so Ry and Asher got Wendy's kids meals and then Ry tried to eat my salad, sandwich, and roll at Zupa's--little turkey! Asher is non-stop while eating Wendy's. He goes from chicken nuggets to oranges to frosty without stopping and just plows through his meal. Seriously the only dinner he enjoys eating!
On Saturday, Kevin's parents showed up for a surprise visit! We love visitors :) They brought Asher a birthday card. We put the boys in their Halloween costumes for grandpa and grandma. Rylan had been asking all day to open Asher's present and thought this was a good time to bring it out. Ry helped Asher open his gift--a golf set that both boys have loved!

Deborah took Asher's pictures on Thursday and I can't wait to see them! We went on the trail here by my house and there were lots of leaves still on the trees and Asher was full of smiles. Once I get some from her I'll have to add them.
So here's some Asher facts:

• He's a great sleeper. He sleeps 11-12 hours at night and usually takes a 3 or 4 hour nap after lunch. Well, the last couple weeks his naps seem to only last 2 or 3 hours. But still, I'll take it!
• He likes to play with balls of all sorts. He also likes to play with trains.
• He likes dogs
• He gets red, dry cheeks
  
• He loves grandma, grandpa, and aunt Tami
• He likes to watch Curious George and he dances to the beginning song. He also likes to watch Peep and the Big Wide World
• He sounds like he's laughing when he neighs like a horse
  
• He wakes up in the morning asking for oatmeal. He wakes up from his nap asking for chocolate chips.
• When he wants to be picked up he'll turn his back to you and back up into you and stand there waiting
  
• He refuses to eat dinner
  
• He thinks it's fun to run, run, run, after you tell him "Ready, set, go!"
• He's got a major sweet tooth
• He like to name things with their owner: "Asher's shirt" "Mommy's seat" "Ry Ry's school" "Daddy's socks"
• He calls Rylan "Ry Ry" even though Rylan tries to tell him "That's not how my name goes. It's Rylan." I tried getting Asher to say 'Rylan' but he just says 'Ry Ry' back to me.
• He likes to watch movies and the majority of the time he'll bring me a 'Living Scriptures' movie to put in for him.
• He copies his brother
